How to Find a Suitable Place to Practice Yoga in Tel-Aviv

There are many places to practice yoga in Tel-Aviv, a situation that may lead to confusion and frustration since it may become difficult to choose a place that it suitable to meet your specific needs.
So how can you choose a suitable place to practice yoga in Tel-Aviv?

Here are some tips and recommendations that may assist in choosing a suitable place to practice yoga in Tel-Aviv:

1. Style of Yoga

There are many different styles and approaches to yoga.
No style is “better” or “more correct”, what is important is to identify which style is suitable for you, according to your personality, temperament, physical, mental and emotional state.
For example: Ask yourself: Do I prefer calmer, more static yoga styles (“Hatha”, “Vijnana” or “Iyengar” yoga) or more dynamic yoga styles (“Ashtanga”, “Vinyasa” yoga)?

The style of yoga that Ronit specializes in is YogaFlow (Vinyasa Flow) which is a dynamic yoga style where the breath leads the movement and the yoga poses are practiced in a rhythmic flow. The emphasis is on the flow and the meditative movement led by the breath.
(For more details on YogaFlow yoga style see article: “What is YogaFlow Style?”)

2. Type and Size of the Class

Do you prefer a large class?
Or perhaps you prefer to practice yoga in a small intimate group?
Or perhaps you prefer a private lesson?
Each option has its advantages:

A. Yoga classes in a large group of 20-40 people
This is a wonderful experience providing the feel of “togetherness” and the opportunity to practice yoga in a big group, enjoying the collective energy of the group. However, due to the size of the group, there is less opportunity to receive special private attention from the teacher.

For those of you who are interested in practicing yoga in a large group, Ronit teaches yoga in Tel-Aviv, Herzliya and the Greater Tel-Aviv area in different sports centers (Holmes Place Sports Club, Tel Aviv Sports Center TAU, and more).

There is opportunity to work on specific postures and different aspects of physical and spiritual aspects of the practice.
The times and places of the classes are tailored to meet the student’s comfort and convenience.
